We have been to Sandhamn, a little earlier than the start of the most popular regatta in the Baltic Sea, where this year 255 boats will take part in this 70 year old competition, the Gotland Runt.
As a start, we must say that the most enjoyable part of the journey was to sail through the archipelago in Stockholm, packed with beautiful islands. We must apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, but they were made from a cell phone.

In this island, a maximum of 100 people live during the winter. During these dates however, up to 10000 people gather during the regatta in concerts, celebrations of any kind, parties, and in pictoresque restaurants such as this:
